Abstract: The analysis of the results of the study showed the significance of determining the serum concentration of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in patients with oropharyngeal cancer, which, in combination with immunological parameters, helps in the diagnosis of severe forms of the process, and is also significant in predicting the risk of recurrence. An integrated approach to immunodiagnostics, virological diagnostics, treatment, and prognosis of the course of the disease has been developed depending on the parameters of the immune status, virological characteristics of the Epstein -Barr virus, and the index of vascular endothelial growth factor.
