Anticoagulant therapy (Greek anti - against, Latin coagulatio - clotting) -is a treatment that promotes slower blood clotting and prevents the formation of blood clots.The resulting blood clots are tightly attached to the wall of the veins or arteries. However high blood flow velocity, fever in infectious diseases, increase in blood pressure, physical overstrain become causes of thrombus rupture in humans. It happens suddenly and often the outcome of such a state largely depends on the speed of providing a person medical care.
