This article presents a literature review on the study of calcium metabolism in pregnant women on the development of the teeth of future descendants. In recent years, there has been a great interest in the study of the influencing factors during the period of antenatal development of the fetus on the formation of odontogenesis. Of great interest is calcium metabolism in the motherplacenta-fetus system. Calcium is necessary for the full functioning of the entire body of the fetus, and calcium is also needed in sufficient quantities by the growing fetus for both bone growth and tooth development.en_US
