Material and methods: Using a questionnaire, we studied the activities of 94 family doctors and 178 nurses working in primary health care institutions, aimed at diagnosing and preventing diseases of the male reproduc tive system. Results: A study of the opinions of family doctors and nurses working in primary health care institutions showed that men usually do not turn to them about infertility. Most health care providers believe that male infertility is rare. In addition, health workers do not have sufficient knowledge about the causes of male infertility, which negatively affects the quality of work of visiting nurses, who are now trusted to protect public health. Conclusion: Primary health care facilities do not have the ability to diagnose male infertility. The activity of family doctors and nurses aimed at maintaining men’s reproductive health cannot be rated as high.
