The article presents data from our own studies on the importance of antibodies to CD74 in patients with ankylosing spondylitis with regard to the clinical and diagnostic aspects. The Anti- CD74 levels were compared with the length, clinical symptoms, activity and radiographic stages of the disease. The results of the studies showed that there was no correlation between the length of the disease and the levels of Anti - CD74. However, the concentration level of antibodies was found to be high among patients at the first radiological stage of the disease. The marker also strongly correlated with the activity and severity of clinical symptoms in patients with ankylosing spondylitis.en_US
