dc.description.abstractIn recent years, type 2 diabetes mellitus has been growing rapidly and is rapidly spreading among the younger strata of the population. This is manifested by an increase in the number of cases of its occurrence with other diseases, including infection with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). In this regard, our study assessed the importance of opportunist infections in the development of type 2 diabetes mellitus in HIV -infected patients.en_US
