Abstract: The clinical features of Parkinson’s disease and vascular parkinsonism, cognitive disorders associated with the disease, neuroimaging in Parkinson’s disease and vascular parkinsonism, as well as intracranial vascular lesions, elevated serum cortisol levels and serum alpha-fetoprotein alterations are therefore discussed.
