In this article, 98 patients with NAFLD and 70 healthy controls were selected to study the significance of the rs641738 polymorphism of the MBOAT7 gene in the pathogenesis of NAFLD. Our studies confirmed the presence of a positive statistically significant relationship between the rs641738 polymorphism of the MBOAT7 gene and JNAYoX, and this association is especially significant in patients with developed non-alcoholic steatohepatitisen_US
