Abstract: The morphometric changes in cortical formations of the limbic system of the human brain in postnatal ontogenesis were studied for the first time. The cortex of the entorhinal region and the human hippocampus, which is part of the limbic system, undergo natural changes in the age aspect. The most intense changes occur in the first seven years of life.
