Abstract: When infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, patients can temporarily overeat, leading to lipotoxicity and subsequent damage to non-adipose tissue, and in severe cases, hyperin flammation and a cytokine storm. A balanced diet can improve health, reduce the risk of infection, and reduce the severity of acute respiratory syndrome - both COVID-19 and SARS-CoV-2. Nutritionists encourage the consumption of fruits and vegeta bles that are high in grains. 31% of recommendations point to the importance of minerals, zinc and vitamins C, A and D for maintaining a well-functioning immune system.
