Research methods. The study used gen eral clinical, laboratory-instrumental, allergological, immunological and statistical research methods. The practical re sults of the study are as follows: The adverse effect of risk factors and clinical and laboratory changes in the gastrointesti nal tract on the severity of AtD in children is substantiated; the determination of risk factors leading to exocrine pancreat ic insufficiency in children with AtD is substantiated; criteria for early diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis occurring with externally secretory insufficiency in patients with AtD for use by general practitioners and specialists of a narrow profile have been established. Conclusion. The principles of prevention of pancreatitis insufficiency, treatment and dispensary follow-up have been developed. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the results obtained contribute to the early detection of children with a high risk of formation, unfavorable course of ATD and concomitant pancreatic insufficiency, which makes it possible to correct the identified violations at early stages and achieve effective treatment results in children with ATD, which contributes to improving the prognosis, to reduce disability and improve the quality of life of this contingent of children. en_US
