dc.description More than 4,200 plant species grow in the flora of Uzbekistan. Some of them are medicinal plants. Medicinal plants are distributed from the desert region of the Republic to the highlands. Some species are even included in the Red Data Book of Uzbekistan. Therefore, special attention should be paid to prevent such cases. Based on the above considerations, one of the most important issues is to study some medicinal plants that are widespread in the Fergana Valley The Fergana Valley is located in the eastern part of the Republic of Uzbekistan, bordering Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. In the southern part of the valley there are Turkestan and Alay ridges, the highest peak of which is more than 5000 m above sea level. The northern part is surrounded by the Qurama and Chatkal ridges, and the eastern part by the Fergana ridge. en_US
