dc.description.abstract Due to the prevalence of polyposis rhinosinusitis (PRS) and its tendency to recurrence, the search for new pathogenetic mechanisms is still relevant. Despite the many classifications and attempts at endotyping this disease, the question remains open. The modern direction of personalized medicine is the study of immunological mechanisms and the search for genetic predictors. One of these targets is interleukin (IL) 10, which is considered a new key factor in the development of allergic diseases, including bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis and ORS. Interest was aroused not only by this cytokine and its ST2 receptor, but alsoby single nucleotide polymorphisms of the IL-10 gene, which may determine the severity of the course of the disease en_US
