To study the social significance of factors affecting nursing work and activities in boarding schools for
children with physical and mental disabilities. Material and methods: The study was conducted among 40 nurses of
a boarding school for disabled children (№2). Mathematical, statistical, sociological (questionnaire) methods of verification,
methods of testing the knowledge of nurses using the test method were used. Results: 94.6% of the pupils of
the boarding school, of which 268 (53.3%) boys and 183 (46.6%) girls, are mentally ill. By category, 37.5% of nurses
are not classified, 30% have II, 30% I and 0.5% the highest category. Conclusions: In the opinion of nurses, their work
can be improved by the use of new technologies (25.3%), the attachment of a nurse’s assistant (18%), 56.7% of respondents
found it difficult to answer (I don’t know). |
