Abstract:
Despite achievements of modern clinical surgery, modernisation of reanimation service
and introduction of new medical technologies, there is a multitude of pathologies which
the medicine should control in the century XXI. One of such pathological states which demands special attention and waits for the decision is acute intestinal obstruction (AIO).
